Enjoying Ponderosa Pale Ale while brewing an Oktoberfest from a local brewery.

Super good beer. Not overly sweet and just the right amount of blueberry and vanilla flavor. I then had to bring home four 16 ounce cans of their American Stout and Ponderosa Pale.

Had to make sure the new whiskey glass works.

Not the normal beer I’d gravitate towards, but I thought I’d give them a whirl. Pleasantly surprised at how well done and refreshing they are. He’s one heck of a creative brewer! Prost Melón: Wheat Me In The Middle:

Got off work early to stop by Gem State Brewing for this week’s new beer, Ponderosa Pale. I had to indulge in the tasty Black Hole Sun as well. I didn’t take a pic…thought about it on the way out, but their pics will save me this time.

Another good beer at Gem State Brewing. I was really impressed with how well balanced it is.

A local craft brewery just opened in downtown Eagle, ID less than a half mile from our house. Gem State Brewery. This is their Haze Daze hazy IPA. Or maybe it’s called Haze for Daze IPA. Either way, it’s good!

Watching Notre Dame beat up on Oregon State and having some Buffalo Trace.
