    proper way to measure SG

    Siphon it out with a tube. if you use a turkey baster, sanitize it like crazy. I just fill up a tube and put my finger on the other end and slowly fill the tube like that.

    Can I use a discolored blow off tube for other things?

    I had the same problem, tried bleach, it never really got it all the way out. I would just buy new tubing.

    What's your favorite Micro brewery.

    Down here in Ga we don't have a lot of micro brews. The competition isn't tough, its basically Atlanta Brewing Company or Sweetwater or Terrapin. Out of those three it's Sweetwater. However, I think Allagash is probably my favorite overall.
