    Super quick fermentation

    Hi I just had a fermentation finsh in 3 days! 21 litres of freshly pressed juice SG 1.050 to start and i just measured it now and it was 1.000. I used Lalvin EC-1118 champagne yeast with yeast nutrient and a little added sugar. Can it happen this quick?

    Hydrometer reading

    Hello again Anyone mind telling me how on earth I take a hydrometer reading from my demijohn cider fermentation without introducing any o2? The only way I can get in is to remove the airlock thus letting air in.
