S-05 yeast. I pitched it and slowly mixed it to hydrate. Wart was at 64F before adding more water. Didn’t test it after that. I didn’t shake it but it did move side to side when moving. I did take a gravity reading and it was exact to the recipe. No fermentation yet. But it’s just floating at...

    Help with recipe terms

I had to make a decision. I added tap water but my water was tested and it was near perfect. I did this with my last batch and it tastes really good I read that someone else said as long as your water tastes good it’ll be good.

Okay. I understand - so it's a slightly different process. Sorry i'm pretty new to all this. So if i follow the extract version. So I'm a little confused, do these steps seem correct? 1.) Adding crystal 80L, Munich and victory in the muslin bag and steeping it in 150-155F for 30 minutes 2.)...

    Help with recipe terms

What would be the difference in the final recipe if I used the extract. Would it still create the same recipe? I'm confused as this part doesn't say exactly how much water to run through it. "Drain, sparge, and proceed with a 60 minute boil."

    Help with recipe terms

What would be the simplest way to achieve this recipe? I want to just use pots to do it. Not a “mash tun” please explain.

    Cloudy beer

Just bottled my beer. Does this look too cloudy to you guys? I was very very careful about sanitization, etc. will it clear up / is it safe to drink if it doesn’t clear up. I used malt extract cascade hop pellets. Thanks.
