Brewed the Deception Cream Stout, rapid fermentation, finished quick. Did I underpitch?

Six days ago, I brewed the Deception Cream Stout recipe found here : Sweet Stout - Deception Cream Stout I did the all grain version BIAB. My mash temperatures were on average 152F give or take 2-3 deg. I started the mash a few degrees high and ended a few low. I added in some DME to get the...

Reusing Yeast, no distinctive yeast layer?

Won't pitching the whole thing into a 5 gallon batch be overpitching it?

Reusing Yeast, no distinctive yeast layer?

Today bottled all my beer and poured the rest of the trub and bottom layer into a jar as shown in the photo. After about an hour in the fridge, I took it out and I notice it doesn't really have a distinctive lighter yeast layer. Is the bottom layer all yeast possibly? This was from a ~3 gallon...

How bad is it to use a yeast not meant for your type of beer?

I've got a batch of witbier fermenting in which I used white labs wit 2 yeast. I'd like to reuse the yeast but not make another wit. How ill advised is this? I'm guessing its fine for similar styles but as you go out to less similar ones it makes a big difference? What about using this yeast for...

Which one of these cappers are best?

My local store has both of these cappers for the same price. One looks to be all metal and more sturdy. Does anyone have experience with any of these? I'm not sure which is best. https://www.shopbarleys.com/product/1505/emily-bottle-capper or...

Don't have DME. To prevent low OG, should I boil with less water than normal?

Oh really? For the sake of learning, why do you think I should be fine? Is it that you think the amount of grain I'm using in that recipe will not give me any problems? Does it help to mention I'm doing this BIAB style?

Don't have DME. To prevent low OG, should I boil with less water than normal?

I'll be brewing tomorrow and don't have any DME. I've heard that if your OG is too low, adding DME is what you can do to raise it. Without DME though, I'm wondering, can I make my wort with slightly less water so that my OG errs on the side of too high so that I can add water in after to lower...

Ah ok. Yeah I see another recipe that called for flaked wheat but it also indicates to even get the flaked wheat ground. Is that a thing? Will that help?

Beginner Doing BIAB Wheat Beer. How does my recipe look?

Oh I was going for a Belgian Witbier but I think some ingredients got mixed up in my searches and I bunched them together. What would you substitute to get a Witbier?

Beginner Doing BIAB Wheat Beer. How does my recipe look?

I'm new to brewing and I'm planning on brewing some wheat beer using the BIAB method. I've done some research online and have come up with a recipe that seems to be the general consensus on how to make a basic wheat beer and before I go and buy the ingredients, I was wondering if I could get...
