Hi all. Can someone lend me a hand. I seem to have lost my lube(this is not sounding right let me rephrase). My keg lube to help me seal gaskets is missing. I have my beer in the keg but atlas no lube. Anyone have any substitute they can think of. My Lhbs store is closed..

Well I had a lot going on and I neglected to move my current brew from primary since the end of June. I kept it in my basement and finally have time to keg it. My question is what should I expect? I am fearing mold. Let me know, I want to move this today but I don't want to mess it up...

I am looking to primary two beers at once but I only have one fermentation bucket. I was thinking of using my glass carboy to primary the other beer. Is there anything I need to know in advance to do that? I guess this also means I would be skipping secondary for both beers.

You can just simply carb using the C02 you are dispensing with. Unless you want to for some reason use sugar to carb in the keg...

I should have mentioned I dont have lagering capability.

Hey I am wondering if anyone can recommend a tan to go with my black(irish stout, FG 1.012). I want to have black and tans pouring on st pats day, but I need to find a tan kinda soon. Anyone have ideas/suggestions?

I have that done in my basement, I have a fridge on the unfinished side of my basement and I ran a line to the finished side and through the wall. It is about a 6 foot run or so with a slight incline. Here is a link to the thread about it, there is another with more pics but I cant seem to...

I read someplace there is a smaller I/D spout that I can buy and screw onto my perlic faucets which can help a little when pouring stouts. Has anyone heard of this, and where can I get it?

What size tubing do I need for this, and I am going to buy a new racking cane just to use for this, but I see there are two sizes, 3/8 and 1/2 which I assume is the I/D of the tubing I need, so I don't want to mis order. Thanks for any help.

That was my fear, but I thought it had to do with final gravitys and not abv... Are the FGs for these too beers close also? They sound like they would be so go together!

BM you have great recipes! I am thinking of brewing this and your Bass Clone for st paddys day and making them into black and tans, you think they will float right?

Okay I am thinking of making BM's bass clone. I dont want to do a guinness clone because I dont have nitrogen, and really that is the best way to enjoy one. So anyone recommend any other beer that I can float with this?
