    Where to find brewmasters?

I understand. I assumed there'd be a bigger crossover but the first link I was given is good enough.

    Where to find brewmasters?

I appreciate your input but the data you cite is a bit too "sterile." It assumes that the beer is sold in a store next to dozens of other similar products. Napkin math based on this tells me that you'd have to sell about 100 milllion cans a year before reaching 1% market share. I might be a...

    Where to find brewmasters?

Yeah, I've read that before since I found it linked in another thread. My lessons from this: 1. Don't use crappy old equipment. 2. "Lesson number two: Don't get high on your own supply." (Five points for naming the movie :D)

Planned on it, they call it the TABC down here :-)

    Where to find brewmasters?

No, I'm genuinely interested in opening a brewery. I originally wanted info on finding brewers since then I could pin down the exact costs of everything and see if that's feasible. The "downside factors" were unsolicited :-) I understand the general difficulties of running a business since I...

    Where to find brewmasters?

It's not that. If on paper I can see that this is an unprofitable enterprise, then I'll go no further. So far though, everything I've looked at indicates that this is still try-worthy but there remain many unknowns hence my OP.

    Where to find brewmasters?

Sell it myself instead of having others sell it. Grocery/corner store markups are huge. That's another middleman to cut out. If I'm not mistaken, that's a small fee. I understand and thank you for your concern. :-) I've read an article recently that said sub-premium beers are...

    Where to find brewmasters?

Cheap as in price. The cheapest beer I've found in any store came out to just under 50 cents per 12 oz can (sales tax included). I've looked at the variable costs for the ingredients, packaging, cans, taxes, etc and I think that's simply way too much. If you can cut out the middleman and sell it...

I'm in Houston, Texas. So around this area.

    Where to find brewmasters?

I've got nothing against beer. :D The business plan is to make a really cheap beer so it's not aimed at the sophisticated crowd. I got the idea when a few friends got together and we had a cheap beer tasting contest. The results were that "they all tasted the same" and "cheap, cold, and...

    Where to find brewmasters?

Thanks a bunch, I've been searching heavily but I didn't find this oddly. They even have classifieds so that's great.

    Where to find brewmasters?

Hey everyone! I know this a home-brewing forum but since a lot of people seem quite knowledgeable here, I hope my post isn't considered too off topic or unrelated to this forum. I want to start a microbrewery. I've looked at the costs, equipment, permits, etc so I know what I'm up against...
