    Beginning of a pellicle?

    Hi all, underpitched yeast and fermentation didn’t take off. That was 48 hours ago. Sorry for the grainy photo it’s the best I could do. Is this the beginning of an infection/pellicle? Seems early but this is very white to me.

    Yeast in hydrometer

    I took my OG reading after pitching the yeast and got a bit of yeast in the hydrometer. Would this affect my fermentation? Should I look into getting another packet and replacing the amount I drew out?

    Airlock question

    Hi all, my plastic airlock got too hot at some point and is not totally straight. So it doesn’t fit taught against the rubber stopper.     White clump on top of beer

    hi all. Is this mold or something similarly nefarious? It’s been fermenting a little over two weeks. Sorry if the quality isn’t great.
