Nice! I have been thinking in those terms to, but haven't done anything yet. But I was more into a SS plug (into the hole), weld a pipe etc. Please share a Close up pic on the plastic where you plug it into Brewie. BTW: www.brewie.org is up right now.

I use StarSan on the hose. Just do full drain and use a "fruit filter cage with filter" to handle the remaining trub . directly into the bucket. When I brew, I brew. When Brewie brew, Brewie brews by himself. We share each others brews and ocasionally drinks together too, but he let´s me have...

Exactly, spot on. I we babysitting it, we can use any regular equipment. Today I brewed another stout. Now boilover. Third time using my stainelss wireloops. Still to early to tell if it does the trick. Wasn't around until 20 min before finish (exept for water inlet issue in the begining...

I whish some one came up with an add-on like the Sentinel for the Brewies. After two boil-overs there's shure gonna be a third on and a fourth and so on... No. I don't like to use foam control (like FermCap S), why add silicone to my beer? Tried to do a small stainless steel wrap up (like 15...

Congrats! Good you did that. Sureley it can help somebody, someday (just hope it's not gonna be me :-)

It is not in the boil start stage? Because there it tries to avoid boil over with a heat on/off stage to reduce boil over. On my B20+ I have a good rolling boil over 100C (212). Didn't know that. That can also be a part of the cause for the US B20+ burning the cables. As far as I know, this is...

Did a full clean (with dishwasher tablets - same as provided with the machine), and yet again Brewie leave a lot of the tablet both here and there (but most in hop #1 and #2). Previous time it didn't even disolve the one in #2. Have someone else had this problem? I'm on the last official sw...

Yes I have seen that link. But thanks, now we now more more that it is ligit, because you have ordered there (but yet not received it yet). Please let us know, when stuff arrives. I ment: We here in Europe can't buy a B20 on the cheap, as US-ppl can. (I've a B20+) Thanks Ajes, No login needed...

In Sweden our normal food-vinegar is 12% and there is one with 24% vinegar-sprit (just use half of it). Used it to remove the first/last time scorthing in Brewie (thanks for the tips). And in Sweden a lot of normal chemicals can't be found, and a lot are also forbidden for private persons to...

Took a couple of evenings to read-up (have been of during the summer). Brewed a stout yesterday, and had a bad 58% effiency 1.033 (will be a 3% stout now). Realized the Breiwe is almost gone, and I still have warranty. Like Ajes we can't get spare parts (B20s) like you, here in Denmark/Sweden...

I would definitely go for the 600. The small particles it would let through should just be pumped up to the top and filterd out there during the mash and mashout. I have two hopspiders. One original Jack, which has larger mesh-size, and one which is very fine, better designed for my kettle...

Ok, so this is some built up, from previous brewing then. Thanks for your knowledge/information. But also same time, think that Brewie should prevent such in its cleaning cycles. Use at least two quick cleans directly after a brew. During ownership done one full clean, and the water came out...

(Re-reading the last pages) As usual, You have some very good ideas - thanks! Sometimes too simple ideas is too hard to think of/come up with. But when they are scratching the surface, everyone know "why didn't I think of that - it is so/too simple". Seems like everyone have died here. Probably...

What happened #2. An alien in the Brewie? The Rusty Rex have somehow, seem to me, become their Brewie's no 1. Then it must be good or...? This brew has nailed into my brain, so I just had to try it, and today I brewed it - had the ingredients at home (ordered some after the Brewie purchase, and...

What happened #1 Where is my Stout? I know the first time I brew, I usually brew a stout. And my data says that I have transfered a stout recipe to Brewie. But did I brew it???? And I also have a movie (because Brewie became high in sound-volume) of a Schwarzbier (and I misspelled the word), so...

Tried out my first brew from Brewie, the Simcluck (a SmaSh with Simcoe). Drinkable, but not more. Either I didn't expect more. 3 out of 5 mostly. Tried out my Dry Stout. Hopefully people seen my mis-failure wit the hop time before in this thread. F-ed up adding my first recipie in the B20+...

@Still Brewn: #1. Think would laburate with how to drain. Usually I drain "with" sediment and next time Drain all. #2. Only had 2 bad brews for +15 years, both Scottish (and brewed after each other). #3. Before I only used boiling water, now I mix it with StarSan - depending on the stage. #4...

The site hung up, here is part 2 There you got a really good point. I have never thought of that BIG point. Yes the amount in the 10 and 5 min cages are quite small. Thanks for get my stuck brain into. as a saw it, a HUGE problem, into a SMALL one. Right now I feel quite stupid, of course it...

The pump will hardly do anything as I see it. Don't know if it is on or off. I Usually: (If I'm there; Stop the process after chill), then skip sediment, Uuse Leave sediment (which drains the hop cages), then drain the brew. Then I do "Full dran", as above. Don't get it, why should I hit pause...
