    Any WLP640 Brettanomyces Anomalus Experiences?

not with this particular brett A. strain, but I've brewed with several different brett strains that were determined to be brett A. after genetic testing. Typically they were much fruitier, some almost too much than other bretts, with less of the traditional horse blanket/leather character that...

Anyone try those cheap eBay motorized grain mills?

bargain mills are almost never a bargain when you factor in the headache of constant readjustment, motor burnout and stuck grain. I use a hammer drill from Harbor freight to power a monster mill. Trust me, mills should be a buy once, cry once purchase.

    water profile question

your Chloride and sulfate levels look good for a NEIPA tbh, maybe the sulfate is a little low, but that sodium level is ridiculously high! are municipalities allowed to have that much sodium in their water? Honestly I wouldn't brew any beer with water that contains that much sodium.

    Anchor Steam

I live near the brewery and can get fresh anchor steam, and Ive been drinking it for a very long time, and I can say with great confidence it has changed for the worse over the past few years. Hop bitterness and aroma is muted, and theres less crystal malt character.

    Imperial A37 POG

if this isolate is anything like the original kveik culture it came from, try it in a lightly hopped blonde ale, this will let some of the wonderful fruity esters from the yeast come to the forefront

    Pauls for #45 basket press

I have a #45 basket press that is missing the pauls for the ratchet, does anyone know the dimensions of the pauls so that I can know what size I need to have machined?

    Imperial A37 POG

Makes sense, I've brewed with the original Ebbegarden culture and it is very fruity.

    Skare kveik

Ive used the OG culture a bit. Its very clean and makes for a thin bodied beer

    Wyeast 3724 Belgian Saison Stall

I think it was Escarpment labs that determined absence of simple sugar+presence of O2 caused diastatic enzyme production in this yeast
