    1-Gallon Brewers UNITE!

I'm not a big beer drinker because good rum is my kryptonite. However I do like good beer on occasion so that's why I do 1 gal batches. I yield about 9 bottles per batch which is perfect for me as I can stretch those out for months and experience how the taste of the beer changes with age. I...

    balloon for an airlock?

This technique is interesting because it shows that necessity is the mother of all inventions. On a side note, the US seems to be doing well despite the election results of '16. I'm happy I don't have to barter beer for bullets.

    Gelatin in Beer

I will try this. I'm using a glass carboy so I want to be careful on how I will transfer the Wort so I can dump the trub. I've had good luck with this Porter recipe in the past but thats because I brewed it as directed but experimenting is half the fun of this hobby. I'll report the results...

    Gelatin in Beer

Ok I'm a dork  I was brewing a 1 gal batch of a honey Porter extract kit. I wanted to add some THC infused sugar to the fermenter before pitching the yeast. I put a teaspoon per 12oz bottle. I'm not sure how the THC was infused with the sugar.

    1-Gallon Brewers UNITE!

Well I hope it doesn't cause me any issues. The sugar was infused with THC and I thought a 1/2 tsp of it wouldn't be enough to feel any effects so I bumped up the amount. I'm also learning the more sugar you add can boost the ABV slightly.

    1-Gallon Brewers UNITE!

I was bottling a 1 gal Hemp Brown Ale 2 days ago. The recipe called for fizz drops but I opted for 1 teaspoon of infused cane sugar per bottle. When I was transfering to the bottle I got air in some of the bottles. Heres to hoping I didn't screw anything up....:cask:

    1-Gallon Brewers UNITE!

I did two batches today and now they are in fermentors doing their thing. One is a nut brown ale the other is a honey porter. Two weeks can't come soon enough. edit... I think I can't add images because I don't have enough posts. 2nd edit... I figured out what I did wrong

    1-Gallon Brewers UNITE!

I'm following this thread because I'm brewing 1 gal batches until we move this summer and I can set up for 5 gallon brews. I got a 1 gal kit for Christmas with an Oktoberfest Ale. I brewed it on Jan 1st and bottled it on Jan 20th. I will start enjoying it during the Super Bowl.:cask: I have...
