    I don't think that's bad.. when fermentation kicks in, I would think the gases being released would push any oxygen out and prevent oxidation. While the campden tablets are in.. the sulfites act as an antioxidant. You might get a little bit of oxidation between the two stages, I don't see why...

    Ya I ended up doing that. I rehydrated at 105°.. the packet suggested between 104° and 109°. Then dumped it in the carboy after 15 minutes. The carboy looks to be about 68 degrees from the thermometer strip. I'm in Spokane.
