    using a hose to air lock I really don't see an advantage other than you need room so you can't have the air lock on top - I don't use them any more just a blow off tube. I would give it bit more time, this is a big beer.

    How Long has it been ? What yeast did you use ? Typically you won't see any activity for 24 hours.

    absolutely - at least 2 days but depends on the beer could go longer if needed.

    it is a kegerator currently with a Ink Bird - I will be buying a small Fridge for Fermenting. I am moving up to Kegging so the kegerator will be storing kegs and usage as well !

    Yup - been there done that - blow off tube now on all brews - distilled water :mug:

    Never thought of that - using a container with distilled water, much easier just using a gallon distilled water jug -

    Blow out tube in lieu of Air Lock - had a major clean up with a Stout beer - use the blow out tube into distilled water on every brew now - much easier

    for the cost of shipping & cost of the unit you might be better buying a Brewzilla or Anvil's Foundry - not much cost savings when adding $93 to ship -
