Yeah, if you are making notes on the situation, I can attest that for older Pi models, the best approach is to just rebuild to a new Raspbian version. I'll let you know how it goes.

I tried it twice, second time it ran for two days before quitting. To be fair, I'm on an original R-Pi from 2011 so not totally surprising. So, I'm going down the new install of Raspbian Lite, new Fermentrack install - what do I need to copy over from the old card to maintain logs, settings etc?
