yeah. After this experience I can see why the flavouring is that much better.

So I brewed a 5 gallon wheat. I put one gallon into a mini keg which is delicious and racked the other 4 gallons onto 6lbs of pureed strawberries. (4 lbs fresh and 2 lbs from a frozen bag) not the prettiest site fruit fermenting in beer but looking forward to trying it

Finally got around to brewing this. Followed the recipe as is. Very nice and tasty.

Thanks for the info. How much strawberries do you use for 5gal batch? A couple lbs.?

Thanks yeah I’ve definitely wonder about how much strawberries are needed to get the flavour. Never thought about using flavouring.

Thanks, I’m definetly leaning to using more cascade, maybe a little centennial for bittering and then cascade/ cashmere for aroma and dry hop

Yeah I can see that. I bought a pound on sale of Canadian cashmere so was excited to try and all Canadian pale ale. But yes they do seem a little lack lustre.
