    How do I ship two cases of beer?

    I need to ship two cases of beer (48x 12oz bottles) from California to Texas. Has anyone else done such a large shipment? I could bubble wrap each individual bottle like I have in the past, but then I would end up with several heavy boxes (i.e. expensive). Anyone have any suggestions?

    My beer will not carbonate!

    I brewed a German Pils that is now sitting in a keg trying to carbonate. I had it sitting under about 12psi (at about 36 degrees) for a couple of weeks. When I went to taste it, it was almost completely flat. Confused, I cranked up the pressure to 20psi for another 3 days. Again, it's...

    How do you keep the gunk out of the fermenter?

    I tend to brew beers with a lot of hops and I always use pellets. After chilling in the BK, the last 1-2 gallons of wort is loaded with hop matter and break material. I even use a Jamil-style whirlpool wort chiller and I still have a hard time not throwing away a crap load of potential beer...
