    I know this is super super old but if anyone reads this... I just bottled a gallon of Grapefruit apple cider. I used 3/4 of a gallon of Grapefruit juice and topped it off with honey crisp apple juice, 1 cup of white sugar and i used lalvin ec1118 yeast. I think it came out pretty damn good...

    I like the Mangrove Cider yeast. Came out Dry but still had some decent flavor. Also depends on the cider you are using but it is definitely worth using. I have another 3 gallon batch going right now with some delicious fresh pressed cider and the mangrove. Ill let you know how it turns out!

    Hey guys i jacked a few batches of cider i had going, its pretty delicious. Going to try to save these for the holidays. One had almost a maple syrup type smell to it, but i didn't add any maple syrup at all. Super delicious.

    question... do I need to add potassium s before I jack it ? if I didn't can I add it afterwards ?? just wondering because I had jacked some cider recently and didn't add any potassium... so when I put in jars and leave at room temp to age will fermentation began after I have jacked it ??

    does anyone use potassium sorbate before jacking ? I just jacked some but am worried that once I put in jars and age fermentation will happen again.. what do you guys think ??? after jacking can I still give it some potassium sorbate to stop fermentation ??

    Fav warmer weather yeasts?

    is s-04 safale-04? I'm using that right now with two gallons. definitely on avg in low 70;s, hope to god doesn't taste like burnt rubber haha
