@Virginia_Ranger Did you ever get this up and running? You can absolutely get php5 and php5-mysql running on Stretch, you just have to do a workaround. R'Pints won't work with php7, so installing those newer versions won't help you with this. I have php5 running alongside php7, so I can run...

Those instructions helped me get there, but I did have to make a few changes. Off the top of my head, I had to trick it into looking for Jessie files on Stretch, same as I had to do to get R'Pints installed properly. sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list --> change stretch to jessie sudo nano...

Ah ok, thanks! I appreciate the reply. For some reason part of me just doesn't like not being able to change the temperature at the fridge itself, instead relying on Fermentrack only. If for some reason my RPi dies, I still want to be able to ferment! I might look into the momentary button...
