    QVC Keg-O-Rator?

Does anyone have any experience with the Nostalgia Electrics Keg-O-Rator sold on QVC? Does it operate well? Good quality? Etc, etc. Basically is it worth the money ($550)? I don't think I am mechanically inclined enough to build my own... Any input will be greatly appreciated! Slainte!

Is 80 degrees Fahrenheit too warm for fermenting a stout?

I just brewed an oatmeal stout on Sunday afternoon. I checked it Monday around noon and it was chugging away with a nice krausen on top. However, I noticed it was at ~80F. I don't yet have a way to control temperatures while fermenting so I draped it with a wet towel and covered it back...

Everything went according to plan until I started getting phone calls and texts...

    Primary fermentation...

I've had my brew, an Irish Stout, in my one gallon carboy for the "usual" 2 weeks. I was hoping to bottle today, but I noticed that there's still a bit of bubble action going on. While I enjoy that entertainment I want to drink my beer!![emoji3] My wife and I think I should let it continue in...

Oops! Did I ruin my brew?

I have my second Brew going, but I'm afraid I may have messed it up. I was checking on it on the second day of primary fermentation and the glass of water I had my blow-off tube in had overflowed with a mess of foam etc., In cleaning up the mess I shook my carboy more than anticipated... Did I...
