You know you're a home brewer when?

When you get the itch to brew so bad that you walk SWMBO through starting a cider fermenting through Skype, so that it has a month head-start when you get home from deployment. Only bad part... she's getting to taste the hydrometer samples, and not me! Tried to talk her into brewing an all...

My Keezer Build: Ode to Jester and Snowveil

Could you run your gas line through a hole in the back of the keezer, run through a single manifold that you could turn on/off, then back into the keezer to your 4-manifold? Wouldn't help with a leak at the tank, but would help with any leaks at your 4-manifold/kegs.

My Keezer Build: Ode to Jester and Snowveil

Sorry to resurrect a zombie thread... Pretty sweet loking! I'm looking at making mine with a very similar design. How has the keezer been holding up without gaps for airflow?

    Caramel Apple Hard Cider

How did you end up getting the syrup to dissolve? Was wondering if it is excessive to cold crash, transfer to keg, and then let keg come to room temp before adding the syrup? Or if syrup can be added to cold cider?

How many gallons of cider in 2017

First batch started! Used UpstateMike's recipe with Notty. I'm currently overseas, and so my wife actually put it together, via Skype! Couldn't wait to get home to get the cider going. 485+5 =490

    Caramel Apple Hard Cider

For those of you that are kegging... would a couple of days of cold crashing before racking to the keg remove enough yeast, without having to use sulfites? Not too concerned about over-carbing, but more so about yeast slowly drying out the backsweetening. Also, if cold crashing, does anyone...
