    Robobrew help

The one I found said to plan for 1.28 gallons of boil off on a 60 minute boil. That is really high I feel. I only boil off about half a gallon.

    Dead Ringer Mango?

So on Sunday I transferred this one to secondary and dry hopped. Tasted before hand and I thought it was pretty tasty! I thought hell, mango IPA's are really popular right now, I'll add it and see what happens. 3 lbs of purée added. Later I read that Dead Ringer is supposed to be a Two Hearted...

Anyone attempted this "The Perfect Pumpkin Ale"?

Here is the link to the article: https://beerandbrewing.com/brewing-the-perfect-pumpkin-ale/ It sounds amazing! But I'm pretty new and not sure about the quantity of ingredients needed. Has anyone attempted this or have a recipe of something similar?

First brew successful! NB Caribou Slobber

So far 1 week and 2 days bottle conditioning. Probably the best brown ale I have had! Going to have another test and week 2 and week 3. Probably fully ready at week 3 I'm guessing.

Oh okay, didn't realize that. I'll have to get a hydrometer at some point then. Thank you!

    Caribou Slobber FG?

So one of the things my wife got me for my birthday last week is a refractometer. I had already brewed my first batch, the caribou Slobber, but as I was bottling today I was curious what the final gravity was. Well I checked twice and made sure the refractometer was zeroed. I got 1.037 both...

Left my grains in the cooler for 4 days after brew....

I wasn't worried about the soap since it was only about 2 hours, but maybe I should be? I was more worried about the smell of the wet grains that had been in there for 4 days. I drained it and rinsed it, still has a slightly off smell. I'll let it sit for a few days, see what happens I guess.

Left my grains in the cooler for 4 days after brew....

Got busy after my brew then it spaced my mind for a few days. It smelt pretty bad, but wondering if anyone has any suggestions for cleaning? I filled it with some hot water and dawn dish soap, then let it sit for a few hours covered. Seems okay but should I take it further? Maybe just switch my...

    Purée added dry to secondary?

That was my guess too but I wasn't sure. That's just what it says on this Madtree recipe I found.

    Purée added dry to secondary?

What does this mean "added dry" to secondary fermenter? Not a dry purée right?

Madtree: Boysen the Hood. Anybody attempt?

I'm looking to start this tomorrow. I have all the ingredients at the local brewery store waiting for me, just wondering if anybody has any tips or tricks? It's my first solo all grain.

    Caribou Slobber question

Thanks for the replys! Besides this I have only helped a buddy brew once and I absolutely love it! I have the Cool Brewing fermentation cool. I put a 2 liter bottle of ice in there but didn't think to put water in there as well. My next brew is going to be a copy of Madtrees Boysen The Hood, my...
