Like I said earlier, I had this EXACT problem. Open you tank valve slowly. If you crank it open, the Emergency Shutoff Valve will restrict the flow of gas.

I had the same issue with my Darkstar 2. I had to open the tank valve slowly to get it work correctly.

What's the over all height of the Conical and the internal on the freezer? An upright freezer would be a better bet.

What immersion rod? A heating element rod? An oxygenation wand? I wouldn't think that a heating element need to be sanitized, just cleaned. An oxygen wand tip should be boiled for 10 minutes or more in just water to sanitize it.

I use a spring clamp to hold mine. Works like a champ.

After i clean mine, I store the pieces and parts in a box until I'm ready to brew again.
