    Man, I love Apfelwein

I just threw together something like apfelwein with 3 gallons of apple juice, 2 gallons of blueberry-pomegranite juice, 2# light brown sugar and montrachet yeast. No activity yet but its cold in the basement so I expect at least 24 hours before I see any bubbles. It smelled great all put...

Budweiser American Ale - with Taste notes

I picked up a sixer of this last night. Its actually pretty good. It isn't as hoppy as I'd like, but I do like it better than Bass Ale. Not as much as Harpoon or SNPA of course, but this stuff is $6.99 a sixer. SNPA is 9.99 here in MA for a 6 pack. IMHO it wouldn't be that bad for a keg...

    Man, I love Apfelwein

Had a sample after 5 weeks in primary, 3 weeks in bottles. Its nice and fizzy. I'll be making more soon, and twice as much this time. I can brew 10 gallons of this for the same cost as 5 gallons of IPA...stupid hop prices.

    Man, I love Apfelwein

Woohoo! First post! I've been lurking here reading this thread for the past few weeks and decided to get a batch under my belt. I have only brewed beer until now and this seemed like something quick and cheap I could do in between brewing big IPAs. Plus, maybe the wife will like it...she does...
