Wow! This is fantastic. I look forward to hearing how your beers turn out. Nice work! :ban:

NE Style IPA - Recipe Check

I typically do a small bittering charge at 60 then everything else at flameout and whirlpool. Technically your way could work but i'd probably add them at flameout instead of 200F to get a few more IBUs. Dry hop amount is WAY low, need at least 6 ounces. For yeast, I usually use Wyeast 1318 or...

Any chance a small batch section can be added?

I think that would be cool. I do 2.5 gallon batches about 1/2 the time.

New England IPA "Northeast" style IPA

Great point. It wasn't very bitter. I know I can't really go wrong so i'll come up with a nice combo and go with it. Appreciate your insight :mug:

New England IPA "Northeast" style IPA

Cool, I have a bunch of Citra at home. Only reason I wanted to try to add some dank/resinous notes is because I tried 3 different NE IPAs from Fieldwork last night and one had some amazing dank/resinous notes in it. Only clue to what they use is Columbus, Mosaic and ""Fieldwork Dank Blend".

New England IPA "Northeast" style IPA

Awesome! I'll think i'll go with Warrior for bittering and Simcoe/Mosaic/Eureka in boil/whirlpool (1:1:1) and Simcoe/Mosaic/Eureka in dry hop (1.5:1:.5). How does that look? Thinking if I keep Eureka lower than all the others in the dry hop will help me not overpower things. I want it pretty...

New England IPA "Northeast" style IPA

Awesome, thank you. Would you be hesitant to use Simcoe and Eureka together? I was thinking possibly Simcoe/Citra/Eureka or Simcoe/Mosaic/Eureka.

New England IPA "Northeast" style IPA

I just brewed the recipe on the 1st page and it turned out fantastic. About to do it again with different hops. I have some Eureka! that I wanted to use. Anyone used Eureka! hops in this? I have eureka!, citra, simcoe, mosaic, galaxy, Nelson, warrior and columbus on hand so wanted to incorporate...

I could be interested in this. I already have one league but shouldn't be a problem adding one more. Keep me updated!

    ISO: Pliney and Blind Pig

Younger isn't bottled and is only released for like 2 weeks per year. Elder is bottled but can be hard to come by but not too hard in Northern California. Blind Pig bottles are typically only sold at the brewery. I'll keep an eye out...

No input on the recipe but curious where you bought the Styrian Wolf hops. They sound interesting.

    Hello from Cali (Sacramento)!

Long time lurker, just started brewing a few weeks ago and I am totally obsessed. Been reading as much as I can about everything involved in brewing for a long time so it feels good to get my hands dirty. Cheers:mug:

    2nd Fermenter question

So I just bought another fermenter so I could have 2 beers fermenting in my outdoor fridge at once (more beer, yay!) but it seems like I have not thought this through. I will be bottling one batch probably early next week and wanted to brew this weekend. The problem I have is that I would be...
