    FastFerment

Good product so far, although I have only used it once. I went to use it a second time and somehow lost the O ring that seals the bulb at the bottom. No biggie, replacements should be here Thursday.

    Leaky Conical

I made a witbier yesterday, everything went great, put it in my conical and tucked it away to ferment. This morning I went to check on it and the fermenter was leaking. After some checking it appears I lost an o ring at some point. No biggie, but I had to move the beer to another fermenter...

    Montana brewery recommendations?

I lived in Billings, MT for a couple years. I loved Black Widow Oatmeal Stout from Yellowstone Valley Brewing. Not super close to Missou, but they may have a pub near there that can pour a growler for you.

    Upcoming brews.....

Well dam, I got talked out of it. Although, I just finished a Witbier I would be more than willing to add some jalapenos too........ Maybe I should throw caution to the wind and toss some peppers in the secondary of my witbier with its time.

    Catalyst Fermentor Kickstarter

I haven't yet, but I am in the middle of getting a used fridge to lager with. I will try and let you know how it goes.

    How much did yours cost.

conical, some cleaner, and other minor supplies.....200 or so for 5 gallon setup. Rest of it borrowed in trade for beer from a buddy who doesnt brew. I plan on getting a refractometer (sp?) tomorrow. Trying to buy something eat time I brew.

    So who's brewing this weekend?

ill be transferring a trippel to secondary, then brewing some witbier to fill the empty fermenter. This time I am opening up the garage/brewery to the masses. Masses = guys from work. Should be a fun time full of beer, brewing, and cornhole.

    Catalyst Fermentor Kickstarter

Based on the prices, I assume it will cost more than a Fastferment conical, even with the stand. I like it, but unless I am missing something, it seems the same as the Fastferment product. That said, please let me know if I am wrong, because I love my conical so far and am all for another one...

Worst Commercial Beer You've Ever Had?

I wasnt expecting anything, never had it, and never seen it for sale here in Utah. Just gave it a shot when I was in CA.

    Slowly Getting Into the Hobby

Hey yall, I have three 5 gallon extract batches done so far. Only one of those three is in the bottle, carbonated, and being drank. Most of my stuff is borrowed from a buddy of mine who stopped brewing. I have been slowly getting my own gear, such as my Fastferment conical fermenter...

    Upcoming brews.....

Now that I have brewed three kits and am a certified expert, I am going to experiment. I plan to buy a cream ale kit, then when its secondary time, put 4 or 5 sliced up jalapenos that I smoked on the Green Mountain in there.

Worst Commercial Beer You've Ever Had?

Not sure if it counts, but I bought a variety pack of Speakeasy Ales and Lagers, they all tasted like an IPA to me. Being as I dont really like many IPA's, I though they were all horrible.

    What are you drinking now?

This seems like a good thread for a first post. No pic though. I am drinking Uinta Brewing Hoodoo, Kolsh style ale. Mainly because I am helping my buddy brew his first beer tomorrow, which is a Kolsch kit from Ogden City Brew Supply.
