    So it seems everyone has their way. Ill use safcider yeast and pitch brown sugar. Next, if its good, Ill add 1 qt of cherry in place of apple juice. See how it turns out. I dont want a dry champaign taste. Thanks to everyone.

    It might. Of course, less rind and add orange flavor extract instead might be a better choice. Or keep the orange slices just 1/4 them so they come out easier. Shouldn't make much difference. Didn't mean grind up. Should have said 1/4 or 1/8th slices.

    Cutting smaller pieces of the rind should resolve that issue. So how did it taste and did it give you a buzz? Recipe for the cherry cider. Really want to try that. Gallon size.

    I don't drink that much. A gallon works fine. Maybe one day I'll do fivers but for now, mini batches work great for me. That being said, once I find a good kit or the formula for Guiness beer, that will probably change.
