    Parsley wine

I came across a recipe for parsley wine, of all things. Anyone make this? What are your thoughts?

    Looking for some suggestions

I'm a new brewer (about a year into it) and I'm also 30 weeks pregnant with my second, a little girl we are naming Morrigan. I wanted to make a micro batch (1-1 1/2 gal) of mead for her birthday that will be opened many years down the road. So many recipes! I'm looking for something others have...

    Looking for Braggot advice

My husband is allergic to hops and I want to try whipping up a braggot for the winter months. I haven't had much luck finding a recipe for one WITHOUT hops. Anyone on the boards know of one that won't turn out weird? Cheers!:mug:

My very first Mead, need some advice

So I started on 6/5/16 with a sweet mead (1 gallon) recipe and the thing is still bubbling away! Been 20 days and has only slowed to 1 bubble every 20-25 seconds. I used D47 and 5 lbs Wildflower honey (probably way too much thinking back on it), sg 1.130, 6/12/16 gravity was down to 1.065. I...

Anyone try this with dried cherries? Just a thought, may give this a go this weekend. I have an empty 1 gal carboy just sitting around....LOL;)

Michigan Brick and mortar Spice shop in Southeast Michigan

I'm in Detroit and want to get some spices for my mead experiments but I would rather smell them/see them before I buy. Rafal's closed about 7 years ago so I've no clue where to go now. Any suggestions? I'll drive as far as Ann Arbor. Thx!!!:tank:

    Blueberry Mead

Looking at the recipe, I'd love to try this. I can get amazing blueberries from Eastern Market in Detroit. My question is, do you need to continue to punch down the fruit in the secondary fermentation? I haven't done this type of mead yet and want to try it out.

    How did you find us?

I came across this forum looking on-line for info on microbrewing mead. I have always wanted to try but there is no way I can drink that much/give away that much in a 5 gal carboy LOL.
