I will try to contact them again. I haven’t had any luck so far.

    Michigan Yoopers Unite

Any Yoopers out there? I am looking for an active brewing group or people that might like to start one in the Escanaba/Gladstone area. I am also looking for home brew competitions near here. I don’t think I am good, but would like others to try my beers and give me some pointers. Thank you!

    1-Gallon Brewers UNITE!

Going to brew a 1 gallon brown ale. I want to add cinnamon and clove. How much should I add? Can I add it to the boil?

    2 row vs 6 row

The local place I found grain only had 6 row. I live in the UP and there aren't many places to find brewing items. It was a spur of the moment idea, so I went with what I found. I will likely try and order some 2 row and see what differences I find.

    2 row vs 6 row

I just finished brewing my first all grain recipe that was not a kit. Amazing fun! The recipe that I used as a guide called for 2 row and I could only find 6 row. Will there be a difference? Should I have treated the grain differently? Thank you for the guidance.

    1-Gallon Brewers UNITE!

Excited to find this thread! Been brewing 1 gallon batches for about 8 months. No room for bigger equipment. Today is a big day for me as I have ventured past kits and am brewing a recipe that I created! Didn't venture far from scaling down something, but a big step.

Cream Ale Cream of Three Crops (Cream Ale)

I am trying this tomorrow. Glad to see some 1 gallon people out here. I don't have the room for a larger setup in my apt. I am going to try 2 batches, and add blackberries to one.
