I did the honey ale not to long ago, but I was thinking of adding the bourbon to the secondary, and for a 5 gallon batch, how much should I add?

A local winery made this, and it was good as hell. Asked them for the recipe, and of course they gave me the political correct answer for, “No!” Does anybody have an ideal of how to brew something like this?

Thanks, coolers just came in today, waiting on bigger brew kettle before I do my first all grain. Was worried about the efficiency, but may take the hit just for easier clean-up, as long as it is not that significant.

Question, new to all grain brewing, wanted to know if using a strainer bag in my mash tun cooler would effect my brew in anyway? Thought it would be easier for clean up.

Alright she is done, been using for about a month; out of CO2 right now, but no problem, I still bottle a 12 pack!

Showing progress, 3 ball lock kegs, and 5lb CO2, in a 5.1 chest freezer. Waiting on 3 way regulator then I will have all 3 taps running. One tap is working, will get me through some preseason Football, American Wheat Light beer, got the kit from Adventures In Home Brewing.

Specs were right on point, Holiday 5.1 chest freezer, as you can see, 3 ball lock kegs, and 5lb CO2, no problem.

Almost complete, drinking beer from keg, waiting for other two, and secondary regulator.

Step closer to completion, Johnson Controller should be here on Tuesday, should be brewing over the weekend!

Update, getting there, SS perlicks, SS shanks (5 1/8), waiting on CO2 tanks, hoses, kegs, secondary regulator, primary reg, and temp control...damn I'm not close at all!

Thanks, after research, keg connections has a 3 hole drip tray, at my price, waiting for them to restock.

Need some help, trying to decide on how to mount a drip tray. The easiest would be to purchase the the 3 hole drip tray, that hangs from the shanks (expensive of course). The cheaper would be the wall mount version, but how to I attached to freezer without damaging freezer coils? Could...
