Native ESP8266 BrewPi Firmware - WiFi BrewPi, no Arduino needed!

Looking great! Finally got my hands on an RPi Zero, and both my keezer and ferm chamber are now running ESP8266 temp controllers. Once Fermentrack is released I plan to install on the RPi Zero along with RPints. The old Pi Model B will keep running the brewery. :mug:

BrewPi@ESP8266, no need of RPI and Arduino.

That was quick! I'll grab the new code tonight. I like that format, very simple. Probably wouldn't hurt if there was a little legend displayed on the page so I wouldn't have to find this thread each time I go in to change it lol.

BrewPi@ESP8266, no need of RPI and Arduino.

This has worked perfectly for me as well. It may be operator error, but I was not able to get it to log to ThingSpeak with the newest version (with local logging). I reflashed to the previous release and the same parameters worked... Either way, very intuitive and reliable.

    Amazon Alexa Integration?

I see, I see. As these wireless hydrometers become more reliable/available/integrated it'll have any more appeal. "...Alexa, what is the SG of my Bourbon Stout?" :rockin: I've been keeping tabs on your Django project via the ESP8266 Brewpi thread! I ran your pi+ESP8266 solution for a while...

    Amazon Alexa Integration?

Has anyone looked into the possibilities of incorporating Amazon Alexa/Echo with automated brewing software? Just picked up an Echo Dot and the little thing is pretty impressive. I run StrangeBrew Elsinore (thanks Doug!), CraftBeerPi (thanks Manuel!), and a couple instances of BrewPi (thanks...

Cfraftbeer Pi vs Elsinore 2.0 for Hosehead?

I've run CBPi, StrangeBrew, and BrewPi on the same pi at the same time. I think its a B+. No issues at all. When I switch a device on via one of the programs, the indicators on the other show the changed state as well. I'll continue to brew with StrangeBrew for now, at least until CBPi adds...
