    Used corny keg prices

you could become friends with someone who works for coke or pepsi! I found out a guy I fish with occasionally delivers for coke, so, after a 12 pack, jokingly asked if he could get me some kegs for cheap, and all he said is how many do you want! He ended up trading me 4 used kegs for 3 6 packs...

    South Dakota Tap-a-Draft for sale

I have a Tap-A-Draft system that I'd like to sell. I used it a few times and it just wasn't really what I was looking for, I ended up buying kegs instead. I had no problems with it, I just don't use it anymore. I purchased it from morebeer.com for $75...

    Looking at getting new keg.

I just ordered 2 new AMCYL 3 gallon kegs from ritebrew.com. They're made in India. I'm new to kegging, but they seem like good quality, the welds all look nice and smooth, I can't comment as far as how long they'll hold up though. They do have the NSF stamp on them. ritebrew.com had the best...

    Transitioning to All Grain

+1 for brew in a bag. It's comparably cheap to get started. I have an 8 gallon kettle, which is a bit small for 5 gallon batches, but I usually just do 3 gallon and it works great! I did a 5 gallon batch once with a very small grain bill (centennial blonde, thanks BierMuncher, its a great...

Basement Rough Plumbed – Like To Install Sink

are those the only 2 pipes you have?? The 4 inch in your floor is most likely the rough in for the toilet, and the 1 1/2 coming through your sole plate in the wall is either for a sink, or a vent for the toilet drain, my guess, keep in mind im guessing, the 1 1/2 line can be used for a sink...

    Harsh off flavor

I had this same exact problem when I started, didn't matter if it was extract or all grain. Upon finding my city's water report, I found that the sulfates in our water were extremely high, 460 ppm or mg/L, don't remember which. I've read that sulfates react with hops and can give the harsh...
