    Clocking in at 6.8% ABV, this Gefälschte Festbier is a delicious, malty treat. Clearing nicely. Needs a little bit of age to mellow but still a great beer. Maybe next year I won't procrastinate so much and get it done long before Oktoberfest. Prost!

    5.5gals of a honey cream and 5.5gals of what I'm calling a gefälschte festbier (11lbs Pilsner, 1lb Light Munich, Magnum, and WLP090)

    Does this work better? I usually just add gelatin at kegging. I've seen your method on a few other sites recently. Just curious

    Brewing today and as I'm get the wort up to boil my thermometer exploded. Glad I was standing to the side!

    10 Gal Igloo Mash Tun - Houston

    haven't had a stuck sparge yet. I did have to shorten the silicon tube to get the false bottom to center but I only took off a little over a 1/4". I spent a little extra and got cam locks but you can thread a hose barb right into the ball valve.

    I thought the same. Then I looked up individual parts. Cost the same or more to build. Theirs come preassembled. I have no regrets about buying mine.
