Specialty IPA: Black IPA Darth Vader - Black IPA

This beer is awesome, I am on my second time around with it but the LHBS didn't have cascade in 1oz and since I have a half pound of citra around I used it for the second version. Obviously I love citra with 3 zombie dusts kegs being brewed. Should turn out good.

    "Non-disruptive" Keezer Build

Here is a picture of it. The moment isn't the problem is the static friction of the magnets to the fridge face. Added some of that shelf cover/grippy stuff you use in cabinets and I can set 3 full growlers. Not sure if you are trying to troll me or what.....

Got some stickers on magnets and how I mounted my drip tray.

Finally have a picture of the back of the drip tray with the magnets. Also I like the idea of stickers on the fridge but think it can be tacky at times and don't want to ruin the sticker forever if I but it on the freezer. So I took some card stock and magnetic tape and mounted each one along...

    Keezer temperature readout?

I really like my STC-1000, you have a heat and cool cycle and also the digital read out. Little but more involved utilizing it since wiring and outlets and such.

I want to keg. What do I buy?!

My 12 cu ft Keezer, looking to add taps already. Completely untouched freezer, not a single hole drilled into it. Everything is resting on each other or like the drip tray held on by magnets.

Yes I have 5-25 lb magnets embedded in the back of the wood. I can get a picture of the build process. I had the learn the hard way, 25 lbs of pull is not 25 lbs in the perpendicular direction. It might be 10% in that direction. Still trying some things out with grippy stuff and the velcro.

    "Non-disruptive" Keezer Build

I had the same mindset as you but even further with everything being modular and could reverse the keezer back to a freezer. My collar is 2x8 with a 1x10 face locating it on the top of the freezer. I reattached the hinges to the collar and use some 7/16" osb as a spacer to get the offset of the...

Hmm 3 beers on tap. Winter warmer is so good now, mulled spices are great this time of the year. Zombie clone has mellowed perfectly. Amber needs more carb

WE all love pictures so here are some more. I know when I was looking thru builds I wanted to know how some of the stuff was assembled and hopefully this will help someone else. More work done today, drip tray built with my new favorite tool ever. I have seen cabinet makers and other wood...

Mail brought more presents today. Poly stain finely dried and way about to sit on freezer finally. Was able to wire up the controller tonight. Have a heat plug inside, switched always on plug, and then the rear had the two plugs for cool. Will probably change to just one cool and an always on too.

Figured out the drip tray and also the skirt/dolly to move it around. Adding up the weight in the keezer is quite impressive. 130 lbs for keexer, ~50lbs of wood, tank-reg-lines 20 lbs, 6 full kegs 65lbs = Almost 600 lbs. So the casters need to have some beef in them. 190 lbs each - 4in...

Anyway you can go into some details on the base? I really like the skirted look matching the upper wood and stain. Ties things together.

    Vintage cabinet kegerator build

This should be a helpful post. I saved it for myself if I ever thought of doing a black iron two legged tower. https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f252/keezer-soze-yet-another-keezer-build-164158/#post1897704

    Of course Another Keezer Build

After chasing leaks in my manifold for an hour I didn't get as far on the build as I wanted but I am done with staining finally. Now need to attach the collar to the freezer. its a snug fit around the perimeter and I plan on using some flat plates to attach the back of the collar to the holes...
