Question how is everyone controlling fermentation temp with these. I would love to get one but my chest freezer is too short for the kegco unit and not wide enough for the kegmenter. Looking at getting the glycol cool from spike to control temps or the glycol wrap that is on the market.

Has anyone done this with an an induction cook top? Wondering how it helps with boil times.

Bigger is always better. If you got with a 6" box you will need to pay attention to component placement more.

I use a cheap heating pad that I got off of amazon. I took the fabric cover off and set the Carboy right on top. This is sitting in my chest freezer controlled by an stc1000. Works good.

What is the watt density on you elements? Are they low watt density?

If this is out of the capabilities of a PID could a bcs handle this if you adapted/converted the cooktop programming to run on the bcs? Then just bypass the controls on the cook top.
