I brewed this last week but used the 6.6 LME and did 5.5 gal batch. OG 1.053 and after a week I tested the gravity and it's down to 1.014 but it seemed to have a strong alcohol smell to it and kinda burned when I leaned over and took a strong whiff of it. Did I mess up by using the extra 1.1...

I got to run the engine one time for a ballast train, it was interesting how it was all computerized and all I had to do was run at a determined speed (I think was 10mph or so) I'm in the yard these days building trains and working industries. Sent from my iPad using Home Brew
