    lol. yeah i was just reading a bunch of revvy's post on this sort of thing before i posted. yeah i figure ill give it 2 weeks then taste it before i keg it and see what happens

    i jsut got the oatmeal stout kit from austins and im gonna brew it this sat. cant waiiiit!! so i cant quite let ya know how it is yet but seems like a great recipe!

    thast what i thought. ive always done 45 mins. this hase about a oupnd and a half of grains and a pound of oats. so im just curious what you guys thought. thanks

    so im making an oatmeal stout. recipe says to steep the grains for 15 mins. that seems reallly short to me! is it bad if i steep longer?

    first off i finally joined and i want to thank everyone for such and awsome fourm and great info!! :rockin: so anyway.. i keged, carbed, than consumed and the beer was tasty but i was having a hard time getting it to server with no foam, and i thought the beer was over carbed, so i burped it...
