    Tips for temperature regulation with a propane burner

    Hey guy and gals, I just wanted to see if anyone had some tips about having better control over your temperature on a propane burner. Yesterday was the first time I ude it and did full batch (an extract recipe) and I had trouble keeping my grains steeping at 155 degrees. Cheers

    Boiling a yeast starter.

    I also just realized that the instructions called for 1800 mL of water which is roughly 7.6 cups. I didn't read that and only put in 2 cups. Would that be a problem? I am thinking about just doing a new yeast starter today. It seems like I messed up a lot of things...thanks for the help as well!
