I have about 3 lbs of pbw left but its pry about 5 years old. does it lose its effectiveness? I cleaned out my old carboys with it and it seemed to be ok but had residue after rinsing.

thanks for the reply. I was thinking if I break it down and lube the seals it may hold me out until I brew more and more haha. should I soak it with pbw or a vinegar solution then scrub?

I have not brewed for some time because I didn't like the bottling aspect of it. Now I am about to get a working kegerator and having a newly renovated man cave I want to do brew again. Still have all my old tools to brew and am fired up to get this going. My question is what do you think...
