    They were brewed approx 2 months ago. I don't have any way for sure to know that the other ones are not infected, but I cannot see anything at all growing on the top like the other 2 fermenters.

    Thanks for the advice everyone. What I'm going to do is just stick the clean 10 gallons into the barrel. I'm going to let the infected ones ride it out and see what happens. Who knows, maybe it'll be great! :mug:

    I have the big mouth bubblers and have had the same issue with the lid not seating and popping out. I read on here somewhere where someone suggested installing the silicone seal on the lid upside down and then seating the lid. I have had much success in keeping the lids seated this way. Worth...

    Hey everyone, I have a quick question for you...When circulating your mash through the herms coil, do you add in water to make up for the losses in your pump suction and discharge hoses as well as the herms coil itself to maintain lets say a 1.25 qt/lb mash ratio inside your mash tun?
