    yours SSR doesnt give a rats @$$ where the voltage signal is coming from. If its going to get any DC voltage 3vdc-32vdc, 3mA-32mA, its going to close the SSR allowing power to pass thru the SSR. So what has been mentioned a couple times in this forum, if you hook your DC+ right up to the SSR...

    You could place your drain below the MT. But because the drain under the screen is only about 1/8 of an inch off the bottom of pot, it wouldn't make much difference . And when im sparging, i alway leave 1 inch water above grain bed. So really, i dont see a point in having the drain on bottom...
