    @skadalajara & @kyt thanks- I did test the ph and it is quite low. I'm thinking for me at least, possibly the acidity could have caused my problem (I was drinking a bottle every day)? My stomach is healing and is now only sensitive to vinegar and citrus.

    I've also just discovered that the sediment is solid as well as liquid looking, and even though it moves like liquid, it won't budge from the bottom of the bottle. Looks über weird.

    Is it possible to store kombucha in the fridge without losing the fizz? The first couple batches I've made have been super fizzy at first after about 6 days, but lose their fizz when I seal and refrigerate them. My goal is to have fizzy, cold kombucha. What do I need to change?

    My mother scoby formed a large air bubble underneath- is that bad? The tea tastes sweeter than last time too. This is my second batch of kombucha EVER, and I have no clue what I'm doing. So excited to learn though! :D
