I've done a filbert nut brown (filberts are a sister to hazelnuts). I added 10 oz during the mash and I felt like the nut flavor came though (also used biscuity and bready malts)

My buddy and I try to brew just about every week. We started in February. We've done 20, five g batches as of last week, so 100 as of last week. 46922 + 100 47022 5 G of sweet potato bourbon brown brewing on Wednesday but that doesn't count just yet.
