    Thanks for your replies - fingers crossed it'll become drinkable in time for Christmas hampers. I saw on another thread that some heated his brew and re-carbed and re-bottles but not sure I've the patience for that!     Flars- It was a gift Geordie Yorkshire Bitter. I didn't take any notice of the yeast packet, just followed the small kit instructions which had a range up to 24c for fermentation. Don't think it would have got over that too much for any significant amount of time but you never know. Pretty...

    Cheers for the reply stodd- The reading was from converting it from a correction chart due to the initial reading being at 23c. I don't have an airlock - what would you suggest?
