    Beer gas in Philadelphia area

I was under the impression that a beer gas mixture (nitro co2) was needed/best for Guinness? So, if I can find it, Id like to use it. Dont all bars use a beer gas mixture for Guiness? If I use only nitrogen, wont my beer not stay carbonated?

    Strong Alcohol Smell

Hello, Just popped off the lid of my primary fermenter after 6 days, and I have a very strong alcohol smell. I have done some reading and found that sometimes this happens when the yeast is pitched at high temperatures, however, I pitched at the suggested temp (76F). Any thoughts or comments?

    Nitrogen / C02 Mixtures

I am considering getting my tank filled with a nitrogen/co2 mixture for my stout which is ready to be kegged. The only thing is, I only have one tank, and its rather big, so this mixture will last me a while. I will probably want to brew and keg some other varieties before this mixture is...
