    I'm 190 pounds and to get the center post to seat in the base I had to stand on the top burner and beat it down with a maul before I cut the top off. It's pretty sturdy

    I use a 50’ copper chiller that I clean religiously. Sorry no pics at the moment. But I use two 10 gallon igloo drink coolers, one for liquor tank and the other for the tun. Both gravity feed to my keggle. Super minimalist setup. Come to think of it I had a batch that I chilled in the snow...

The flavor was nonexistent in the beginning and is now here to stay. I don't know quite how to describe it but it a grainy musty funk that's not terrible but it drives...

    OK so its been in the primary for 3 months and now its time to bottle. Do I need to add any yeast at bottling to get it to carb? I have had bad luck in the past with my yeast not having enough juice left to carb 10% and above beer.

    Way overshot my gravity... I used the suggested 65% where I normally get around 75%. O.G. is 1.117 and its far to late to boil up a gallon to top it off. Can I add a gallon in tomorrow?

    I just did Vegan's HT clone so two 4 day rounds of about 6 ounces total at an ambient temp of 65.
