Definitely make one of these every 3 months or so, but I always make a smaller batch (1-3 gallons). Most are drinkable and on occasion one is really good.

Is the "freezer" a plastic tray with the cooling plate right below it? If so, I just removed the tray and bent the plate down to be parallel with the back vertical wall. Worked fine for me. I also had to cut off the plastic in the inner side of the door to fit a 6.5 gallon carboy

Edit: The individual recipe kits come with mesh straining bags for grains It doesn't appear to come with a grain bag/strainer either.

I think I am going to start calling my false bottom "Pippa".

I made a Warrior SMaSH last summer. My verdict was that in addition to it being a great bittering hop, Warrior could be an useful aroma hop in some circumstances (I got some substantial lemon/grassy aroma). The flavor it imparted was a little too plain/grassy to stand by itself. Just my 2cents.

Does it even come with a pot to, ya know, brew in?
