Just like wine beer will age faster in a smaller container. Thats why there is really no reason to bulk age unless you are using an oak barrel for flavor

The ball locks have an in post and an out post did you get them mixed up when you took it apart for cleaning?

The only differance between a ball lock keg and a pi lock keg is the (coke) or pin lock has a high pressure safty valve and the ball lock or (pepsi) keg has a manual pressure release valve. If the pin locks have been working fine for you why change?

I have a Sweet stout in the fermenter for 10 days now The OG was 1.067 and should finish out at 1.020 according to Beer Tools. Right now its at 1.029 But there is 2ldb lactose for the 11gal batch and I dont think that beer tools is compensating for that. Will my gravity reading go down any more...
