    Coopers Cascarillo With Citra

I would like to make the Cooper's recipe for a Cascarillo Amber Ale, however, I would love to use Citra as a hop. http://www.coopers.com.au/the-brewers-guild/how-to-brew/ale/cascarillo-amber-ale My question is should I replace one of either the Amarillo or Cascade with Citra and which one...

    Is it still fermenting?

Yeah it's not doing anything, going to bottle. I'm using Brown Sugar (cane) to prime. Do I just mix it with some boiled water and then add to the bucket before bottling?

Could This Be A Brewdog Clone?

I was browsing Cooper's website and found this recipe: http://www.coopers.com.au/the-brewers-guild/how-to-brew/mid-strength/kilted-ipa I noticed that they say this: Then they put the ABV at 3.8% That happens to be exactly the same ABV as Brewdog's Dead Pony Club. I know the...

    Is it still fermenting?

The SG is stable at 1.015; going to give it till Monday then bottle. There are no bubbles in the solution anymore. Will it be safe to bottle if I add Priming sugar? I'm worried about bottle bombs and also whether there is enough yeast for priming.

    Coopers Wheat

Thanks a lot that's helpful. So perhaps it better to use 1 kit and 1 wheat LME with a different yeast. Or should I use 1 can with some DME and sugar? So hard to decide. Aiming for around 5.5%

    Coopers Wheat

I like to tinker and I have read that 2 cans of extract can give a better result.

    Coopers Wheat

Hi all, I'm wanting to make a Cooper's Wheat beer and I need some advice. Can I add two cans of the Coopers wheat beer, or should I rather add 1 can wheat beer, and 1 can wheat malt. Or alternatively I could use 1 can wheat beer and 1kg DME..... At the moment I'm thinking 2 cans...

    Is it still fermenting?

My secondary is bubbling slowly so I guess that's a good sign! My primary is a brewcraft screw on fermenter and it didn't bubble at all so there must have been escape elsewhere.

    Is it still fermenting?

    Is it still fermenting?

So if it doesn't do anything more do I chuck it out or buy some more yeast?

    Is it still fermenting?

Oh deary me... :( I put it in secondary because I was worried about all the pumpkin bits floating around.

    Is it still fermenting?

So my beer (Pumpkin Ale) has been in the primary fermenter for around 1.5 weeks now. It started off at 1.058 and is now at around 1.018. It still tastes a bit sweet. I am worried that it is not going to ferment any more, because it has already been 1.5 weeks. I have put it into a secondary...

    Fruit Beer watermelon wheat

Three questions: 1. Can I use 2 cans of Thomas Cooper's wheat extract? It's the only one I can get. 2. The yeast, I'm using SafBrew WB-06, do I just rehydrate then pitch? Or can I just sprinkle on top? 3. Can I leave out the Aromatic malt?

    Adapting A Recipe

Looks good, unfortunately there's nothing like that where I live... I'm thinking it might be a better idea to forego the Pumpkin ale idea for the moment and just start off with something simpler like an Extract IPA or APA.

    Adapting A Recipe

Thanks, I agree it's definitely not ideal. I'm wanting to make a 'Spiced Ale' as I like the warm flavours and christmasy feel... For my second brew I don't want to go all out and buy all sorts of grains and hops, but of course I understand I should if I want to make the 'correct' thing...
