    extract German pils ?

    I'm thinking of doing an extract German pils this weekend I have 6.6 lbs Briess pilsner extract,lots of saaz hops, and w-yeast 2007. I'm not sure whether or not to steep a bit of crystal 10 or cara-pils though any thoughts would be appreciated

    Dark Mild 3rd mild recipe

    4 lbs light dme 1 lb crystal 120 1/2 lb chocolate 1 oz EKG @ 60 mins 1/2 oz EKG @5 mins windsor dried ale yeast this is an extract mild brown recipe that I made based on leftovers in my closet just started drinking it this past weekend and its great! I steeped the crystal & chocolate...

    so we just got briess rye lme in our local shop and i was thinking of making a rye ipa what do you think of the following: 3.3lbs briess cbw rye lme 3lbs light dme 1oz simcoe @ 60min. 1oz simcoe @ 30min. 1 oz cascade @ 5min 1oz cascade@dry hop thanks for any ideas
