    extract German pils ?

    I'm thinking of doing an extract German pils this weekend I have 6.6 lbs Briess pilsner extract,lots of saaz hops, and w-yeast 2007. I'm not sure whether or not to steep a bit of crystal 10 or cara-pils though any thoughts would be appreciated

    this is very close to my personal octoberfest recipe you are using a pound more pilsner which I want to try this winter myself also I add another oz of hallertau at 20 min. if your willing to use a smack-pack of yeast wyeast 1007 german ale yeast is the best for making fake lagers works 55-65...

    Can't get good late hopping/dry hopping results

    I always dry hop in the secondary before kegging with whole hops in hop bags weighted with a marble this along with a flame-out addition seems to do the trick
